How to make a nice postcard using ImageSkill PixPattern

This tutorial will show you how to make a nice postcard using ImageSkill PixPattern using just a few mouse clicks.

All images and steps are valid for Corel (Jasc) Paint Shop Pro 7,8,9,X, X1, X2.

Step 1. Open an image

Open an image in your graphic editor (for example, Corel PaintShopPro Photo X2).

To open an image, choose File->Open. Browse for the image file then click OK.

	Make a selection using Freehand Selection tool with feathering about 50.

	Invert the selection by Selections->Invert command (short key Ctrl+Shift+I).

Run ImageSkill PixPattern from Effects->Plugins->Image Skill->PixPattern menu.

	Choose the Crumbles effect and set Scale to 10. Press OK and return to editor.

	Slightly blur the processed image by averaging filter using Adjust->Blur->Average with aperture 3.

	Remove the selection by Selections->Select None command (short key Ctrl+D)

	Make a winter frame for the resulting image using Image->Picture Frame command.With checked the Frame outside of image radio button or using the Image Frame plugin.
